Fuzzy’s Pizza Katy x Congregation Emanu El presents
“Breaking Passover”
A community gathering as Passover comes to a close.

Continuing the tradition
Last year, we hosted “Chametz for a Cause” just before Passover began which was a joyful evening where the community gathered, sang, and shared food together. This year, we’re flipping the idea and coming together as Passover ends.
What is Breaking Passover?
Passover ends at sunset on April 9th, and yes, it’s about time the pizza returns.
Last year we did “Chametz for a Cause” but this year, Breaking Passover is a relaxed, community forward gathering to mark the end of the holiday and enjoy the foods we’ve missed for eight days… namely pizza, challah, babka, cupcakes, and all things chametz. There’s no program and nothing formal, just good food, familiar faces, and a meaningful cause in the background.
The event itself is completely free to attend, and the pastries and breads will be 100% complimentary.
Supporting Holocaust Museum Houston
If you choose to purchase food, 18% of all sales from the event will benefit Holocaust Museum Houston. Come hungry, do good.
Event Details
Thursday, April 9, 2026 at sunset (about 6:45PM) at Fuzzy’s Pizza Katy. Attendance is capped at 72, and it is a free event to attend.
